The event was facilitated by Arystan Zholanovich Masanov, Director of the Kazakhstan Scientific Research Institute for Road Safety (KazSRIRS). Under his moderation, the session was held in an active and constructive format with the involvement of all key participants in the process.
Representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Health, the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, research institutes, as well as key industry experts and interested organizations participated in the event.
During the meeting, speakers presented reports on the current state of the road transport situation in the country and problems in road safety management (RSM). They also presented the structure and conceptual vision of the draft Strategy for 2026–2031, with the long-term goal of achieving zero road deaths by 2050. The main focus is on a risk-based approach, digitalization, sustainable financing, and interagency cooperation.
