Version dated 10 September 2026. Remains in effect until a new version is published on this page.
General provisions
The kazrap.kz website is owned by the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute for Road Safety LLP. These Terms govern the use of the website and the content posted on it.
By continuing to use the website, the visitor accepts these Terms. If the Terms are not acceptable, the website should not be used.
Purpose of the website
The website is for information purposes. It describes the KazRAP programme, the iRAP methodology and the Institute's work, and publishes news, regulatory documents and information on accreditations.
Information about services and areas of work does not constitute a public offer. The scope of work, timing, cost and procedure for delivering the results are determined by a contract concluded separately by the parties.
Rights to content
The website's texts, section structure, design, diagrams and photographs belong to the Institute and the website developer, unless otherwise indicated next to the material.
The iRAP methodology, including the Star Rating system and associated designations, belongs to the International Road Assessment Programme. The Institute applies the methodology as an accredited participant in the programme.
Partners' logos and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders and are displayed solely to indicate cooperation.
Use of content
Website content may be quoted for information, scientific and educational purposes, provided that the source is credited and an active link to the original page is given.
The following require written approval:
- full or partial reproduction of website sections on other resources;
- inclusion of the Institute's documents in commercial products and services;
- use of content in advertising and in the visual materials of third-party organisations;
- adaptation of diagrams, maps and illustrations.
Status of published assessment data
Risk maps, Star Ratings and survey findings reflect the condition of network sections as at the date of the road survey and coding. Road conditions change, so published materials should not be regarded as current at any arbitrary date.
The result of an assessment under the iRAP methodology is an analytical document. It does not replace design documentation, state expert review or decisions of the authorised bodies, and it does not constitute a conclusion on the compliance or non-compliance of a section with regulatory requirements.
The Institute accepts no liability for decisions made by third parties on the basis of website content without contacting the Institute.
Links to third-party websites
The website contains links to resources of partners and international organisations and to the Adilet legal information system. The Institute does not control these websites and accepts no liability for their content, availability or data processing policies.
Following an external link means that the rules of the resource you have gone to apply from that point on.
Enquiries via website forms
By submitting a form, the visitor confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they are entitled to share these contact details.
It is prohibited to use the forms to send advertising, insults or threats, to transmit malicious code, or for actions that violate the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Such messages will not be answered.
Website availability
The Institute strives to ensure uninterrupted operation of the website but does not guarantee it: technical interruptions, updates and circumstances on the part of the hosting provider and communication channels may occur.
The Institute is entitled to change the structure, the set of sections and the content of materials without prior notice.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be amended. The current version and its date are shown at the top of the page. Use of the website after a new version is published constitutes acceptance of the changes.
Governing law and disputes
Relations connected with the use of the website are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties shall endeavour to settle disputes by correspondence: claims should be sent to info@kazrap.kz. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be heard by the court at the Institute's location.
