The main aim of the event was to find ways to reduce road deaths and improve the safety of passenger transport. During the discussion, participants considered the human factor and the state of road infrastructure, as well as the role of ride-hailing platforms, including Yandex Taxi and inDriver, in fostering a culture of safe driving.
Particular attention was paid to the need to introduce digital monitoring technologies, monitor drivers' working and rest hours, and develop safety ratings for taxi drivers.
