On 30 April 2025, KazAvtoZhol National Company Joint Stock Company and Kazakh Scientific Research Institute for Road Safety Limited Liability Partnership (KazSRIRS) signed an updated Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. The document is a logical continuation of earlier agreements and reflects both parties' commitment to deepening their partnership in improving safety on public roads in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Under the updated Memorandum, the parties discussed the strategy for rolling out the KazRAP regional programme and agreed on priority measures to improve safety on national roads. Particular attention was paid to implementing the national road safety strategy using the international iRAP methodology and adapting the methodology to Kazakhstan's conditions through the KazRAP digital platform.
Continued cooperation between KazAvtoZhol National Company JSC and KazSRIRS LLP opens up new horizons for analytics, the application of science-based approaches and the introduction of innovative road safety solutions. This contributes to achieving the strategic goals for developing the country's transport infrastructure to 2030 in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
